Maybe, just maybe

With Hollywood offering virtually nothing at the multiplex this summer, maybe I should adapt my short stories to a screenplay.
Hey, it can't be any worse than what's out there, right?

The Half-Blood Prince

I got the book at 12:01 a.m. Saturday and have about 130 pages finished. I'd have gotten further, but it was a busy weekend.
But so far, so good.
Very good, in fact.

Bad weather and Harry Potter

Two years ago I read got the then-newest Harry Potter book just after midnight as it was released.
The whole next week we had severe weather warnings and I put off some travel plans just to stay around home in case things got really bad.
As a result, I finished the entire Order of the Phoenix in four days.
Tonight, just after midnight, the Half-Blood Prince is released. Right now we have stormy weather.
I hope I can spend the next week reading Harry Potter, but I hope the weather is better.

Signs of the times?

A little inspiration

Well, the newest story is underway but I'm not sure how well I'll develop it.
I remember details of the night very, very well, but I need to get things focused to really make it an effective four-page tale.
Maybe the weekend will clear my head.
